PITTY PAT'S PORCH on the "Funny Farm"

Eckley, Colorado

Announcement    Come on in... you don't have to knock.... "Backdoor guests are ALWAYS BEST." (Only silly salesmen knock on our front door!)

Just look all around my 'PORCH' and enjoy the country atmosphere and my unique homemade items. Some "gourd art" items are one-of-a-kind, but you'd be pleased to know that we grow all of our own gourds here on our farm and personally pamper each one through the cleaning, scraping, drying and decorating processes. I make then one at a time and take care to make EACH ONE unique.

Sometimes I find it boring to do more than one of a design, but all of my designs are products of MY OWN imagination and develop a personality that makes them hard to part with. I have sold many of my designs to a museum in Texas, Washington state art show, in Colorado mountain towns and am pleased to say my "gourd art critters" have won blue ribbons in every Art Show I have entered.

I consider this art form a hobby, and it has been such good therapy for the serious injuries I suffered in an accidental fall over backwards in 2006, where I broke my Sacrum,(tail bone), and shattered both of my arms just above the wrists.

I hope you will treasure these little pieces of my personality and find them as humurous as I have intended them to be.
